Scholastic Reader
Romeo and Juliet book?

There’s this book in the Scholastic Book Order – Teen Readers Club. The book is Romeo and Juliet. I wanted to order it, but I don’t know if its the ‘real’ version of it. It says its by William Shakespeare but its only 128 pages. Could someone tell me if this is like the full length, ‘real’ version of this? The book has a black cover with William Shakespeare written on the top with Romeo and Juliet written underneath in big capitalized red letters, with a picture of a rose underneath, with the Scholastic logo in the bottom left corner. Could someone please tell me if they’ve read this, and if its the real one or not? Coz I don’t want to waste my money buying a different version. Thanks in advance.
There is no bookstore where I live, why else do you think I order from Scholastic? The closest bookstore is 1 1/2 hours away, so, yeah, I’ll just go there in a minute so I can help the local economy…

I don’t know that edition, but I can tell you that in the Complete Shakespeare that I keep next to the computer, Romeo and Juliet is only thirty-seven pages–probably bigger pages and smaller type, and definitely fewer notes, than the edition you’re considering has. But it’s very probable that the book you’re considering is the whole play as Shakespeare wrote it.
