For my kids carnival b-day how do i make sure that every kid gets a gift even if they didn’t do good w/games?
I am hosting a carnival b-day party for my two nine year-olds and we will be giving out tickets to play the games. Should I give out candy instead of tickets when they when at a game booth and then every kid gets a prize at the end? i am kinda stuck because the games i got from someone say you could when 50 or 20 tickets and so on, but if i give out tickets when they win then at the end some kids may not get any good gifts. but if i give out candy, then kids might be disappointed because the game says they won 50 tickets!
You could buy a variety of different prizes from the dollar store, or how ever much you want to spend on prizes. Wrap them all up in wrapping paper, so the kids don’t know what’s inside. Whenever they win a game, they get to choose a wrapped gift for their prize, or at the end of the carnival, everyone who hasn’t won a prize gets to choose a gift from the table too.
Candy bars make great prizes too, that would be fine, kids love that. You could have the prize/gifts set out so they can buy them with their tickets, so the kids who won more get to buy more, but just look around and (unless you are having 50 kids come to this party) it should be easy to see who isn’t winning any and let them pick out a prize from the table too. You could put someone in charge of keeping track of the prizes won.
I know when I go to a baby shower or a bridal shower where they have games and a few people win gifts, I think it’s great when I win, and fine when I don’t, I’m always happy to see that someone won something.
you should let them win a prize for winning the game, this teaches them that not everybody wins everything all the time in life.
