And don’t u need to have laptps for wireless. I always thought that u needed laptops to go wireless. I have one computer at the moment and its a desktop. I am going to have 2 going once i get the router. Anyone know of any networks in australia that do good deals and maybe include a second desktop as well. I rent so is there anything that needs to be installed in the wall or roof so i can have wireless? I was thinking of going with dodo. And thanks to everyone that replied to my question about getting rid of security tool. I got rid of it by using super Anti spywaremfree edition.
Most of the newer desktops have wireless capabilities built into them. If yours doesn’t they will give you an adapter that just plugs in to a usb port. It only takes a few minutes to get it up and running. That is how they did the one in my home when we went wireless. Everything was run through the existing phone line, all they did was change the jack to accept the right cabling.
