What happens in the last Series of Unfortunate Events book?
Does anyone die? Are the parents really alive?
Well, all I know for sure is that the last book (titled “The End”) comes out Friday, October 13. I’m guessing that Lemony Snicket decided on this date as a specialty. As far as definite things to be resolved, we will definitely learn more about the sugar bowl, the Snicket file, and V.F.D. As far as plot goes, there have been absolutely no rumors and very little public appearances by the author to go by. However, in terms of anyone dying, I’m guessing yes. As far as “who”, my first assumption would be Count Olaf or the remaining parent (considering it is the last book). In terms of the parents really being alive, yes (but only one of them). We will see the parent also in the last book as well.
