How do I get my 3 year old to sleep in her own bed?
She just recently started coming to my room after I shut everything off and go to sleep myself. She will fall asleep in her own bed, but once I lay down, there she is within 30 minutes. She will be 3 next month & I’m expecting in February so I really need to get her out of this habit before baby arrives. Any suggestions? Just moving her back to her bed doesn’t seem to work, she ends up right back after I fall asleep. I will wake up & there she is next to me…
give her something of yours to sleep with, im sure she’s just worried that she isnt going to get enough attention when the new baby arrives, she just wants to be close to you. make her a bribe. “if you sleep in your own bed, you can sleep with mommy’s pillow, or wear mommy’s PJ’s to bed”. if this fails. make a fort or castle in her room, she’ll have a cool sleeping place and an awsome place to play make believe during the day.
