How can I make myself stand out from others?
I am applying for a part time job in a espresso bar, the details say you dont haveeeee to be experienced, but its obvious they will pick people that already have some experience, I don’t. How can I make my CV stand out from everyone else and show that I am a helpful and reliable person who will be best for the job?
oh i dont think its an interview yet, you just email your cv. thats why im finding it difficult!
30+ years ago (lol) I went through the routine of sending out a squillion applications (mostly “cold calls”) for jobs not dissimilar to the one you’re after. I had no experience, etc. One interview came because I’d mentioned, as a bit of an afterthought, that I’d done some sailing – one of the partners was into boats. As it happens, I got that job.
I might just work for you if you mention various “other interests” – not at great length – keep it concise.
Good luck!
