Did you read the book, “Sammy the Seal” as a child?
Syd Hoff was the best. I also had “Gizzwold” and the one with the horse; I can’t remember what that one was called.
Chester was the name of the one with the horse. What did we do before there was the internet?
I read it as a kid, and then I found a copy at yard sale and read it to my (now 12 year old) daughter so much that she could recite it by heart when she was three. Both my daughters loved it as kids, and both could probably still almost recite the whole thing.
I don’t know the one about the horse, but we checked out Danny and the Dinosaur from the library a few times.
