Oxford School
what are the requirements for entering oxford law school?

I’m doing the IB diploma program so tips on IB grades would be helpful.

above will give you the IB requirements for a competative application to Oxford generally,

http://www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/undergraduate_courses/courses/law_jurisprudence/law_1.html

is the requirements page for law. It is not mentioned there, but you should check whether you have to take the LNAT ( a little like the American LSAT) for admission.

In addition to the above, if you’re application is good enough to be seriously considered, Oxford will want to interview you. If you are unable to get to Oxford arrangements might be made, you would have to consult the admissions office about it. Typically an interview would also involve some tests of aptitude – at my interview (some years ago now) there was a comprehension & writing test, and we were given a brand new House of Lords judgment to read and asked questions about it in the interview.

As well as being acadmeically good you have to show interest in your subject, current awareness – what’s going on in the law, and so on.
