Nokia Booklet 3G is an Impressive Mini Laptop
Mini laptops are the entire craze right now; they are portable and easy to carry. Their battery power needs are minimal and they get you easily connected when there are nearby WiFi hotspots, and did we mention that WiFi hotspots are almost everywhere now?
This is the advantage of the mini laptop and mobile giant Nokia is bringing us its own version of this highly marketable device. A mobile phone manufacturer gives to a laptop what only a mobile phone manufacturer can give; a SIM card reader and 3G functionality. Will this be enough to make for a decent laptop or is this going to end up as just another Nokia novelty product? Read more to find out.
The Looks Alone
If laptops are to be judged merely on external appearance, then only a few mini laptops would be selling right now, and one of them would be the Nokia Booklet 3G. The device itself is pretty slim, at 2cm, it is one of the slimmest mini laptops available. It has a nicely designed screen and keyboard that looks sophisticated and powerful when you pop open the lid.
The body itself has a silver matte finish a glossy black keyboard which really looks simple, yet serenely impressive from almost any angle. The sides are elegantly accented by a black plastic strip on which the ports can be seen. Two USB ports, a 3.5mm audio jack and an HDMI output slot can be seen from the left side of the device. Yes, this device supports HDMI output (now if only it had a Blu-Ray Disc reader).
Nokia Goes HD
Yep, you heard that right, Nokia had the foresight to use an HDMI port instead of the generic digital video out port found in most laptops. This enables users to plug the booklet into all HDTVs and HDMI monitors for presentations and other useful functions. Nokia’s genius does not stop with just the HDMI port. The entire laptop has been carefully designed and made to be truly practical and stylishly cool at the same time. The display screen is an HD ready monitor with a black glass finish.
Getting Inside the Booklet
If the name Nokia Booklet 3G keeps reminding you of the notebook type laptops, just remember that this mini laptop is also sporting some hybrid mobile phone features. Among the most prominent of these features is the 3G technology present in the device. We are thinking that this function will not be eating away at your power supply as fast as WiFi would and the 12 hour battery should be able to handle the so-called “all day connected” feature that Nokia is so proud of for this device.
One thing we could not wrap our heads around was the A-GPS technology and Ovi maps installed in the device. The practicality of using a mini laptop as a GPS device is easily trumped by other more specialized devices. Still, this is a pretty fun feature and it should be useful when you are planning trips ahead of time.

How do i read trapper Dans notebook in Nancy Drew:White wolf of icicle creek lodge?
I could read the first one but the other ones are to hard! Please help????!!!!!!!!!!!
To decipher the code, take the first top letter, then the letter below that, then the letter on the second column, the letter below that second column, then the top of the third column
Here's what it says:
First things first. Locate my secret hide out up in the mountains.
It's so secret, you'll probably never find it - but if you do, find my rex
bone and use it in the wall of my hideout. That'll open up my secret lock.
Then, match my wits with the infernal slot machine.
Use the duck counter to match up all 3 animals. It helps to first
put the same animals in a column and work from there.
There are 3 more animal keys hidden in the lodge: the moose
the wolf and the raccoon.
It's easy to find the moose - just push out his eye and see the surprise!
The fire necklace will tell you all you need to open up the sly raccoon's
hiding place. Just don't wake up any lodgers.
The wolf is the trickiest to find because only the likes of Marie Curie or Mr. Geiger can hear his call.
