What is the best character meal at Disney?
My daughter is 5. She loves Mickey and Pluto. She does not really care for Winnie the Pooh or any of the Disney Princesses. I was considering the breakfast at Chef Mickey’s. Any suggestions?
I agree that Chef Mickey’s might be the best choice for you and your daughter. As of right now they are serving only breakfast and dinner, but I’m hearing from sources that they may add lunch sometime mid to late summer. Both breakfast and dinner are buffets at Chef Mickey’s.
A couple other options to conisider would be The Garden Grille at Epcot, in The Land pavillion in Future World. This restaurant features dinner only, and it’s unique in that Mickey, Pluto and Chip n Dale are dressed in their farmer outfits.
Also, ‘Ohana at the Polynesian stars Mickey, Pluto, Lilo and Stitch. The characters are there only at breakfast, not lunch or dinner. This can be fun because Stitch is up to his usual antics. Breakfast is served “family style”.
EDIT: To the answerer who recommended Liberty Tree Tavern. It was a good characater meal in it’s day, but Liberty Tree Taven no longer features characters as of Jan 5 of this year.
