What is the best way to remove spots from an American Girl Doll?
I have an older American Girl Just Like Me Doll. I bought her second hand, but in the last year or so she has mysteriously developed blue and orange spots on her legs. Does anyone know how to remove these spots?
I just looked this doll up to see what kind of arms and legs she has- since they are the plastic/vinyl legs, try a bit of acne cream on the spot and put the doll in a window where the spots can get some sunlight. The peroxide in the acne cream and the sun will help take the spot out without damaging her skin or discoloring her anywhere else. Just check on her every day to see if the spot is coming out.
I’ve never tried this technique on American Girl dolls but I have used it on Barbie and Berenguer dolls and it doesn’t discolor the skin other than removing the spot.
