What does it mean when the mom in The Cat in the Hat says no chewing tobacco?
When Sally ask’s can I have some rules mom. and the mom says no chewing tobacco ? What does it mean i dont get it!
I’m guessing exactly what it says, Sally is a “goody two-shoes” so all of the rules that applied to Conrad didn’t apply to her. So when she asked for some rules the mother said “No chewing tobacco”. I doubt that the quote had any secret meaning to it.
