Can someone tell me everything I need to know about Italy?
This summer I am traveling to Italy. We will mostly be in Verona. I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me what I need to know about it there. Are there certain percautions I should take?

I live about an hour south of Verona and spend a lot of time there. It’s a very nice city with an extensive old town. There are often interesting festivals or other events. In the summer, the Arena, an old Roman colosseum, is used for opera performances. There are often good exhibitions in the castle. Verona is a good base for exploring Lake Garda and it’s an easy train ride to Venice. It’s a very safe area, but you should be aware of your surroundings and take care of your belongings as with anywhere else you might go. In eleven years, I’ve never had any problems in Verona.
