Is there any children books that can explain a 9 year old how to take care of herself?
I have a 9 year old step-daughter…. I’ve tried explaning to her about taking care of herself like putting on deodarant, wiping everytime she goes to the bathroom. I know she’s young and I have to remind her sometimes and I do, but I feel like a bad person thinking that I’m getting on her nerves. I just try to teach her respect for herself and having morals. She loves to read , so is there ANY books for her to read helping her to understand what she needs to do.
just to let you all know….. her real mom doesn’t care to much about herself or her daughter so that doesn’t help…. and I’ve taught her the consiquences, I’ve tried everything!
Yes, there is a little girl book that has ALL that stuff in it. I saw it at KMart, but I cannot remember what it was called. I’ll try to look it up. Be right back.

“The Care And Keeping Of You”. I actually looked through it and it looked really good for young girls.
A challenge: World’s Longest Domino Rally with Children’s Books. A World Record? Probably.
