Who writes the Boxcar Children mysteries?
I know the first 19 or so books were written by Gertrude Chandler Warner. The other approximately 5 dozen simply say “started by Gertrude Chandler Warner” and don’t say who actually wrote the book anywhere.
I believe the publisher contracted with various authors to keep the series going. None of them get name credit.
