Was anyone else Mortified by the appauling ending of His Dark Materials: The Amber Spyglass?
What the heck was that all about???
That wasn’t an ending – it was like,he’d got bored of writing the book so just finished it!
I was mortified because it was so sad. I feel that ending was necessary and was the best possible ending he could have written. I don’t want any namby-pamby happy ending where Lyra and Will have 57 kids and live in a palace. I didn’t feel as if he got bored and cut it off just like that at all.
