Word Book
What is the point of inspiring a book word for word, but not guiding the translation process?

So many things in the bible gets blamed on a error in translation, so why didn't god guide that process, apparently he inspired the book word for word, of course some people ignore parts because they say the book was written in a different time, I don't get that, I though god is timeless. If god inspired this book why are some parts subject to the time it was written in and why are there translation errors? Why would god allow errors into his word?

I think he does - many hours are spent diligently seeking the right word for translating- sometimes the word may not even exist in the target language- then one has to go for thought for thought (which is usually more accurate anyway) One time some missionaries were working on translating the Bible into the language of an isolated African tribe- they had no word for hate- that concept was not even in their culture- the same tribe had a word for "you" but not one for 'I". For example on the thought to though translation Tengo Hambre is translated as I am hungry. But tengo does not I am it means I have. So word for word it would be I have hunger. Which actually makes more sense but to the English reader is would be confusing - the thought is understood better than the words in context.
