Trixie Belden question?
You know Sleepyside-On-Hudson and Glen Road and the Manor House, Crabapple Farm, and the Frayne Mansion? Well, I was wondering if the places are real. I know that the stories of course are fake, but are the places where they take place real?
No, they aren’t real, but they are supposed to be evocative of the Hudson River Valley area. There are lots of small towns up along the Hudson River, such as Hastings-on-Hudson, Ardsley-on-Hudson, Sleepy Hollow, Sleepy Hollow Manor, Croton on Hudson, etc, that have a lot of similaries to Sleepyside-on-Hudson.
The author based Sleepyside-on-Hudson on her hometown of Ossining, New York, which is, coincidentally, located between Croton-on-Hudson and Sleepy Hollow, NY. 
There is a small street called Glen Street in Ossining.
