Are the seven dwarfs from snow white related?
My friend and I were watch Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and were wondering whether or not the Dwarfs were brothers or some form of relation like cousins or what not... Or are they just seven random dwarfs who live and work together?
Anyone know?
Funny question I know, but still we were wondering...
I think they are just random dwarves. In fairy tales, it seems to be the general assumption that dwarves were industrious and lived or worked in the mountains. I'm not sure what the origins of this were, but it seems common.
Some other common assumptions:
1. Elves have thin, narrow features, are intelligent, and live in the woods.
2. Goblins steal children.
3. Witches live in remote areas, brew strange mixes of chemicals and cast spells.
4. Fairies are light and delicate, flighty, and can clean up and decorate a room in no time at all! But don't make them angry....
Some other LESS-common assumptions:
1. Trolls live in the Religion and Spirituality / Politics areas on Yahoo! Answers.
2. Goths live in dark apartments and only come out at night.
3. Dweebs live in their offices and are afraid of Managers.
4. Managers are round like toads and live in Castles in the Suburbs. They are greedy and easily distracted by Money and Bright Shiny Things.
5. Bubbas live in Trailers in Rural (sometimes pronounced Real) America and if forced to Work, will draw Disability.
6. Massage Therapists live in remote areas, brew strange mixes of chemicals and cast spells.
7. Fairies are light and delicate, flighty, and can clean up and decorate a room in no time at all! But don't make them angry....
8. Ex-Spouses steal children.
