The Fun of Coloring Books For Children
Car ride games?
Today we have a busy day (I’ll add the plans in the detail boxes) and the kids each have a fun place to go to for a portion of the day, but for the rest of the day, they will just be hanging out either riding somewhere in the car, or at my modeling studio. My mom packed some crayons, a couple coloring books, and a couple DVD’s for the car ride, but other than that, we didn’t bring any entertainment. What games I have my mom play with them (the ones with us most of the day are 2, 4, and 6)?
8:30- begin loading car and seating children
8:40- drop of twins at aunts
9:00- the 2 and 4 year old to swim lessons
10:00- get the dressed and do their hair.
10:45- drop me off (slightly early) photoshoot
11:15- bring the 8 year old to her friends house (slightly late)
11:45- mom comes back to the photoshoot and they enjoy lunch
2:00- 6 year old soccer game
3:00- go to my aunts house and pick up the twins
4:00- the 8 year old will be picked up from their friends
When we were kids we played Pididdle (you say pididdle when you see a car with one headlight), the license plate game (write down as many license plates as you can, working as a team), Counter game (choose an object, cows if you’re in the country for example, and count every one you see.. or even choose a few objects to be on the lookout for), I Spy, Car dance (each person creates a dance move you can do while sitting down, creating a “routine” of dance moves that everyone has to do, sans the driver, changing the routine with every song).
